The Three Graces moniker always made me laugh when Rochester christened us that name.

Whenever Rochester returns from his business travel he will usually find his two most favourite things awaiting him.
A cup of tea and moi.

I ache for Rochester. In more than just one obvious place.
I meant my heart, silly :)

For Rochester as well as myself when we travel so much, a hotel room can feel like a second home.
But we promise ourselves to cut down on the traveling and spend time alone together. We enjoy other people’s a lot but we crave each others the most.

I keep in touch with Rochester. He informs me that hecan’t help but not seduce a pretty filly or a more challenging femme fatale when he travels.
I know he always rises to the occasion.

It should be a good summer in our chateau with friends visiting.
I’m really looking forward to seeing Hildegarde and Lucrezia especially.
Rochester always invites one or two surprise people too.

I wish we could have recreated the libertine heritage of the original Hellfire club but what we do in the chateau is our homage to it with wit and mischief and always with sordid elegance.
Both Rochester and I are fortunate to have a dependable circle of friends who share our libertine lusts in this discreet way.

Rochester and I always put on a summer soiree in our chateau and invite a few friends down from Paris and other places.
Lucrezia always comes down when she can and I’m happy she’s coming again. But what gives me special joy is to know that Hildegarde is also coming down for the week.
It will be great to see the girls again. It’s been a long time since the three of us have been together like this.

Rochester and I have two maids in our employ. I wouldn’t call them ‘maids’ in the fantasy sense of the word. They are part of a small staff that look after our chateau in our absence.
They are both local girls and their families are well known to us and so we treat them as part of our family as at least one of them has been with us for some time.
Of course Rochester fucked one of them when he seduced her at 17 but five years on she hardly bats an eyelid at the kind of soirees we throw from time to time in our chateau.
The other maid is more recent and we hesitate as to keep her on. This summer will see if we shall because nothing is more important than loyalty and discretion in our home.

Parisiens are not really funny. They are secretly envious of Anglo-Saxon humour. They wish they could be witty and intelligent at the same time but don’t know how to.
Rochester has plenty of both and I don’t always get his jokes. I’m getting better :)

The secret of a good marriage?
Never stop seducing each other.
I am fortunate that in Rochester I have man blessed with roguish charm and wit to match my mischievous playfulness.
But most of all: be kind to each other.

Maids sadly don’t dress up in the way they used in olden days.
Maids in Paris today are more likely to be non-French and expected to multi-task such as baby-sitting, cooking or cleaning.
Of course whenever we have thought of hiring a maid for our Paris apartment multi-tasking takes on a whole different meaning to Rochester, the rake.

I’m back in Paris for a few things including finally settling on finding a full time maid for our Paris apartment.
Both Rochester and I have hardly been here to settle this vexed question.
